Leroy Lovesick is the darker character in Kompaan's Foreign Legion series, an annual collection of intense barrel-aged stouts. This imperial stout (10% ABV) matures in Appleton rum casks, adding warmth and fruity complexity to classic stout flavours. The colour leans brown rather than black, with aromatic notes of coffee, chocolate and caramel enhanced by subtle vanilla and oak from the rum barrel aging.
