Ettal Benediktiner Hell

Benediktiner Hell is a classic Bavarian helles from Klosterbrauerei Ettal, one of the few breweries still run by monks. The brewery traces its brewing tradition back over 400 years to 1609, when the Benedictine Abbey of Ettal first began producing beer.

This bright, golden-yellow lager strikes a pleasant balance between malty sweetness and refreshing dryness. The aroma combines malty notes with grassy, herbal-floral hop character. On the palate, delicate malt sweetness interplays with floral and herbal hops, finishing with a hint of citrus and a dry, medium-bitter aftertaste.

With its light body and fine carbonation, this is a refreshing beer that embodies the classic German lager tradition.
