Kaapse Nelis is the first pilsner from Kaapse Brouwers, the independent craft brewery from Rotterdam known since 2014 for bold recipes and challenging taste experiments. At 4.6% ABV, this pilsner proves the style still has plenty to offer. The brewery named this beer after Koperen Ko, a street artist from Rotterdam's Katendrecht neighbourhood.

Brewed with Perle and Saaz hops, Nelis brings a fresh and innovative take on the pilsner. The combination of these hop varieties gives the beer a subtle bitterness and a distinctly crisp character with a light tartness. The result is a clear, golden beer that stands out through its refined flavour profile.
