Kaapse Brandgans BA is an ambitious collaboration between Rotterdam's Kaapse Brouwers and Ramses brewery. This wheat wine merges the full, sweet character of wheat with barleywine strength at 10% ABV, creating a layered and complex expression.

The nose unfolds with dried fruit, raisins, caramel sugar, and calvados notes from barrel aging. The palate is rich and sweet, showing clear caramel, dried fruit, and warming alcohol. Wheat softens the whole, delivering a silky mouthfeel and lingering sweetness.

This is a contemplative beer—ideal as a digestif or standalone sipper. Since 2014, Kaapse Brouwers has established Rotterdam as a serious craft beer destination.
