Jopen Yakima Makai is a West Coast IPA from the Netherlands' largest independent craft brewery, brewed in the historic Jopenkerk church in Haarlem. This beer relies entirely on the Krush hop from Yakima Valley, delivering a bright, refreshing character with pronounced stone fruit, citrus and tropical notes.
The Krush hop brings a distinctive blend of piney bitterness and fruity complexity to the palate. At 6% ABV, the beer maintains excellent drinkability without heaviness, finishing crisp and dry—hallmarks of the West Coast IPA tradition.
