Mc Chouffe is Brasserie d'Achouffe's darker expression, born from the same Ardennes tradition that began with a 49-litre batch in 1982. At 8% ABV, this strong ale carries the brewery's spirit of adventure in a deep ruby-brown package.

The beer opens with a lively, persistent head and releases aromas of sweet malt and fruit—particularly pear—with a hint of spice from coriander. On the palate, it balances light sweetness with subtle fruit character and a clean, grassy hop presence from Styrian Goldings. The finish is dry and crisp, with low bitterness and a pleasant, lingering aftertaste that rewards the sip.
