Don't tRYE this @Home is an ambitious collaboration between Jopen and brewer Mike Murphy of Norwegian brewery Lervig. This rye wine-inspired quadrupel spent 300 days maturing in cognac casks, imparting elegant oak and brandy character to the complex base recipe featuring barley, rye and wheat.

The nose reveals oak and cognac with subtle fruity undertones. On the palate, caramel and vanilla dominate, complemented by apple and cinnamon, while the rye contributes a full, syrupy texture. The finish brings forward apple and spice, with a warming alcoholic warmth befitting the high ABV.
