Martin’s Original Pale Ale
Martin's Original Pale Ale is a traditional English-style pale ale brewed in Belgium by Brouwerij John Martin in Antwerp since 1909. The brewery was founded by John Martin, an Englishman from Newmarket who brought an original yeast culture from England to create this distinctive beer.
Brewed with 70% malted barley and 30% unmalted wheat, and hopped with aged hops, this pale ale delivers a nuanced character. The palate opens with sweetness before biscuity malt notes combine with gentle hop bitterness from Kent hops. Bronze-coloured with a silky texture, it finishes dry and clean, offering subtle caramel and floral notes that reward careful tasting.
