Named after the mountain Blaven in the Cuillin range on the Isle of Skye, this ale began in 1996 as a winter-only brew. Its rich malty character and well-balanced hop aroma proved so popular that Isle of Skye Brewing decided to produce it year-round.

Creamy and full-bodied, Blaven delivers a strong, fruity flavour that pairs well with spiced dishes, meat and mature cheeses. The ale is crystal clear and silky smooth, enhanced by the addition of oats in the brew.
