Melting Pot from Hop Hooligans is an English Barleywine at 12.5% ABV, brewed in Jilava, Romania. This full-bodied, robust beer marries rich malt with vanilla and rum notes from oak chips. It pours hazy deep red with a beige head.

The nose reveals toffee, milky caramel, fruit pie and dried apricots, touched by clove spice. On the palate, the substantial body delivers sweet fruit character, held in check by strong yet refined alcohol warmth. The finish is relatively short but pronounced, with distinct rum flavours from the barrel treatment and a pleasant boozy warmth that lingers.
