Hofbräu Original
Hofbräu Original is the signature beer of the legendary Munich brewery, founded in 1589 by Bavarian Duke Wilhelm V. This helles is brewed according to the German Purity Law using only water, malt, hops and yeast. The recipe combines Pilsener malt with a small portion of Munich malt, finished with three Hallertauer hop varieties.
The beer displays a golden hue and full body. The nose reveals delicate, floral aromas with a subtle citrus hint. On the palate, clean bready malt flavours emerge alongside light caramel notes and refined hop bitterness. The finish is crisp and balanced, making it an approachable everyday lager rooted in Bavarian brewing tradition.
