Hertog Jan Proeftuin 4 Tarwewijn
Hertog Jan's Proeftuin #4 Tarwewijn is a blonde wheat wine inspired by their flagship Grand Prestige, crafted with a significant proportion of wheat. This experimental release grew from a single 2000-litre base beer refined into five distinct fruity variants by Brouwerij Brouwersnös in Groenlo.
New Zealand's Nelson Sauvin aroma hop delivers elegant notes of white grape, gooseberry and a hint of kiwi, while the yeast contributes pronounced fruitiness with dried fruit character. Bread, honey and ripe fruit combine into a harmonious whole with soft mouthfeel and a long, warming finish.
A full-bodied, malty-sweet wheat wine with fresh hop bitterness that provides balance.
