Papa's Weißheit
Papa's Weißheit is a Franconian hefeweizen from Braumanufaktur Hertl, the smallest brewery in Franconia. Brewer David Hertl, Germany's youngest brewmaster and beer sommelier, crafts this lightly hazy wheat beer with meticulous care. Named after Papa Bernd, a guiding presence in the brewery's story, it reflects the personal, family-rooted values of this 80-square-meter operation.
This hefeweizen delivers classic wheat beer charm with fruity character and gentle sweetness. The nose shows banana and subtle phenolic notes, while the palate echoes that fruit-forward sweetness. At 5.1% ABV, it is an approachable, drinkable expression that fits naturally alongside Hertl's other family-named beers.
