Heineken Pilsener
Heineken Pilsener is a Dutch pale lager with roots stretching back to 1864, when Gerard Adriaan Heineken acquired Amsterdam's De Hooiberg brewery at just 22 years old. Brewed with three natural ingredients—barley, hops and water—this 5% pilsner has become one of the world's most recognisable beers.
It pours a bright yellow with a solid head and good lacing. The nose reveals grainy malt, delicate floral hop character and hints of grass. On the palate, cracker malt sweetness meets gentle bitterness, with subtle notes of apple and banana from the fermentation. The finish is dry and clean, leaving a balanced, refreshing aftertaste typical of a well-crafted pilsner.
