Heineken Oud Bruin
Heineken Oud Bruin is a traditional Dutch brown ale with roots in 19th-century brewing. Brewed using top fermentation with barley malt, water and hops, this low-alcohol beer delivers a mild sweetness balanced by gentle bitterness. At just 2.6% ABV, it offers an approachable drinking experience.
Heineken reduced the alcohol content in the 1970s from 3.5% to the current level, broadening its appeal. The dark brown colour and mildly sweet character come from dark malt and natural sugar additions. It pours with a modest head and drinks smooth and light on the palate.
