Gulpener Port Barrel Aged 2020 is a Barley Wine from Gulpener Bierbrouwerij in Gulpen, Limburg. This beer matured in port casks from Porto, developing rich layers of dried fruit, vanilla and subtle spice complexity. The base recipe, Wintervrund, was selected specifically for this barrel-aged expression.

The nose reveals ripe and dried fruit with vanilla notes. On the palate, a full caramel body emerges with honey and dried raisin character, supported by complex spice. The finish is warming and lingering, befitting the 12% alcohol.
