Bourbon County Brand Stout is the flagship of Goose Island, a Chicago brewery that has pioneered barrel-aged beer since the 1980s. This 15.2% ABV Imperial Stout matures in bourbon barrels, creating a deep, layered experience.

The nose reveals coffee and vanilla alongside dark chocolate and oak from barrel maturation. On the palate, a full, boozy character dominates, with toffee and espresso notes punctuated by subtle fruit—apple and pear emerge from the complexity. The finish is long and warming, with bourbon flavours gradually fading.
