Goose Island's Bourbon County Brand Stout from 2015 is an imperial stout matured for over a year in bourbon barrels. This is a full-bodied, complex stout layering deep roasted cacao, espresso and toffee with vanilla and brown sugar notes drawn from the bourbon wood. Woody and smoky undertones provide balance against the natural sweetness of the malt.
