Gallivant Barley Wine Barrel Aged Cognac/Moscatel emerged from an ambitious project by Brouwerij Brouwersnös in Groenlo. From a single batch of 2000 litres, the brewers created five distinct fruity variants, each matured in different barrels. This expression marries cognac warmth with moscatel sweetness alongside the full, malty backbone of a classic barley wine.

At 10.5% ABV, this beer develops a layered profile shaped by barrel maturation. The interplay of oak aging and fortified wine influences adds sophistication and depth to the beer.
