Submersion is a New England Style DIPA from Folkingebrew, the modern craft brewery established in Groningen in 2017. This beer is shaped by a deliberate blend of four hop varieties—Citra, BRU-1, Vic Secret and El Dorado—applied through double dry-hopping. The malt bill combines Golden Promise and oats, fermented with LA III yeast to achieve that signature hazy character.

The nose presents a burst of stone fruit and citrus aromatics. On the palate, assertive hop bitterness takes the lead, supported by fruity esters that suggest mango, passionfruit and grapefruit. The finish is dry and inviting, with a pleasant alcoholic warmth that integrates the 8.5% ABV seamlessly.
