Flying Dog Tropical Bitch is a Belgian-style IPA created by Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland to mark the brewery's 25th anniversary. A creative spin on their flagship Raging Bitch, this beer harnesses tropical fruit to distinctive effect.

Brewed with orange, pineapple, mango and passionfruit, Tropical Bitch strikes a bold balance between fruit sweetness and hop assertiveness. The nose leads with bright citrus, particularly orange, followed by tropical fruit character. On the palate, citrus peel and sweet tropical notes are countered by dry, resinous pine and earthy hop bitterness.

At 8% ABV and 55 IBU, this is an approachable pour despite its strength, with a relatively light body that keeps it easy drinking. The finish is clean and dry, emphasizing the hop-forward character.
