Flying Dog's Single Hop Series HBC-291 is an 8% ABV Imperial IPA built entirely around the HBC-291 hop variety. This American hop cultivar delivers fruity aromas of grapefruit and melon, supported by a malt bill of rye, Cara-Pils and biscuit malt.
The flavour unfolds with floral hop notes that transition into a rich malty core of bready sweetness and caramel. Citrus fruit and earthy undertones add complexity, while a soft peppery tingle rounds out the finish. At 75 IBUs, this IPA strikes a balanced bitterness without overwhelming the palate.
