Urweisse
Erdinger Urweisse is a classic Bavarian wheat beer brewed to the original recipe from 1886, when Privatbrauerei Erdinger Weißbräu was founded. This top-fermented beer is made according to the German Purity Law using only water, malt, hops and yeast.
The distinctive character brings hints of ripe banana and clove, typical of wheat beers. The brew masters use caramel malt to create a full-bodied, well-balanced flavour. A soft initial taste is followed by a blend of spicy malt aromas with mild hop bitterness and a touch of fruity acidity.
