Oktoberfest / Festweiße
Erdinger Oktoberfest is a seasonal wheat beer brewed specially for the festival season by Erdinger Weissbräu. This Hefeweizen blends the soft, fruity character of a classic witbier with the fuller, maltier profile of a traditional Oktoberfest. At 5.7% ABV, it is slightly stronger than Erdinger's standard wheat beer, delivering more body and flavour depth.
The nose shows typical Hefeweizen notes: banana, bready malt and clove, with a subtle floral hop whisper. The palate opens with smooth, toasted malt sweetness, candied fruit and a touch of spicy pepper, balanced by moderate hop bitterness and a hint of citrus. The beer is smooth and approachable, with full body and soft carbonation that complements the malt character without overwhelming it.
