Ebontree brewery in Dordrecht created this Imperial Stout as a tribute to Brokking, a celebrated local pastry maker. The beer translates his famous hazelnut meringue cake into liquid form: full-bodied, rich and sweet, with hazelnut character that defines the experience.

A dark brown to black stout at 10.8% ABV, topped with a generous beige head. The aroma displays roasted malt with subtle smoky undertones. On the palate, roasted grain and light smoke lead the way, complemented by prominent hazelnut notes that give this beer its distinctive personality.

Ebontree uses no filtration or pasteurisation, so each bottle contains yeast sediment. This beer is currently out of production.
