Embrasse Blended Oak Aged is a robust dark ale from Brouwerij De Dochter van de Korenaar in Baarle-Hertog, Belgium. The beer matures for an average of 6 to 8 months in blended whiskey barrels, acquiring softer, fuller characteristics from wood contact. Brewed with roasted malts, barley, wheat and rye, it develops rich tones of chocolate and dark fruit.

On the palate, roasted flavours, chocolate and coffee emerge clearly, supported by the complexity the barrels contribute. The beer's natural fruitiness is enhanced by the wood's influence. At 9% ABV with bottle refermentation, this is a full-bodied, warming beer with a lingering finish.
