Abbaye des Rocs Brune
Abbaye des Rocs Brune is a Belgian Strong Dark Ale at 9% ABV, brewed by Brasserie des Rocs in Montignies-sur-Roc. This pure malt beer contains no added sugar, crafted with seven different malts and three hop varieties—Belgian, German, and Czech. Double fermentation creates layered dark fruit, toffee and bread malt character.
In the glass, Brune presents a dark brown hue with a full, balanced finish. The nose reveals layers of dark, alcoholic fruit notes. On the palate, rich maltiness mingles with toffee sweetness and subtle roasted undertones. The mouthfeel is full and well-carbonated, with good balance between malt backbone and darker fruit sweetness, alcohol warmth well-integrated throughout.
