Brouwschuur Knoeër
Knoeër is a heavy golden ale from De Brouwschuur in Weert, brewed in a converted 1912 industrial building that once housed an iron foundry. At 10.5% alcohol, this is a potent blonde that demands respect – the Limburgian saying 'knoeër op unne houp' warns you not to drink it too quickly.
The beer displays a light golden colour with a stable white head. The nose shows spicy character with notes of bread and a hint of chewing gum. On the palate, spiciness leads, supported by malt backbone. The finish is dry and warming, befitting its strength.
De Brouwschuur has operated as a full brewery since 2016 and contributes to Weert's local beer culture with a carefully curated range.
