D'Iesseltje is a Dunkelweizen brewed by DAVO Bieren from Deventer in collaboration with Grolsch. The beer was created in 2018 to celebrate the 1250th anniversary of the city of Deventer. Its name references Démpter Iesseltje, a historical figure from Deventer's past.

As a Dunkelweizen, D'Iesseltje embodies the hallmarks of this German style: a darker appearance than traditional wheat beers, with a full flavour and soft texture. At 6% ABV, it strikes a balance between the grainy character of wheat malts and the yeast-derived characteristics typical of the style.

This anniversary beer reflects the partnership between two Dutch breweries and their connection to Deventer.
