Deo is a porter from D'Oude Maalderij, a craft brewery in Izegem that explores dark beer styles. This gentle, unfiltered beer pours a deep amber colour beneath a soft head. Aromas of toffee, dark chocolate and toast lead to a palate of milk chocolate sweetness balanced by restrained hop bitterness, with subtle notes of sherry and cognac.
