Dark roasted malt aromas dominate the nose, with notes of espresso, dark chocolate and roasted grain. On the palate, an intense, full-bodied experience unfolds with dry roasted malt character, dark chocolate and hints of tar and liquorice. The hops add depth to this malt and hop bomb.

The finish is dry and clean, with a pleasant bitterness that lingers. This beer has won multiple gold medals at the World Beer Awards, including the Meininger Craft Beer Award Platinum.
