Mad Callista is a Session Lager from Craftwerk Brewing, the innovation lab of Bitburger. Despite its modest 3.9% ABV, this beer delivers substantial flavour thanks to the German Callista hop.

The aroma evokes a tropical fruit box: mango, passion fruit and gooseberry lead the nose. On the palate, ripe mango and gooseberries meet directly, followed by a touch of hop character and malt sweetness. The body is slender yet lively, with fine carbonation providing refreshing crispness.

The finish is harmonious and dry, with fruity notes fading gradually. A proof that low alcohol need not compromise on taste.
