Agnus

Corsendonk Agnus is a Belgian tripel from Brouwerij Corsendonk in Turnhout, brewed in a tradition reaching back to 1398 when the Priory of Corsendonk housed an important brewery and malt house. This blonde, full-bodied ale is fermented at high temperature and then bottle-conditioned and matured into a lively, effervescent beer.

The nose presents hop aromas with spice and fruity character. On the palate, spice emerges with well-balanced bitterness that lingers pleasantly. The beer combines a sweet malt core of biscuit and honey with summer fruit notes like pear and pineapple, supported by subtle citrus peel and a hint of pepper. At 7.5% alcohol, this is a refined, elegant tripel that finishes warm and inviting.
