Bulgarian Brunch by CoolHead Brew is a collaborative sour ale with Sofia Electric Brewing, inspired by Bulgarian yoghurt bowls. Brewed with toasted and caramelized oats, then soured using yoghurt culture, it is finished with raspberries, rose water, Madagascar vanilla beans and banana puree. The result is a hazy, watermelon-coloured sour with bright acidity and layered fruity and floral character.

The beer exemplifies CoolHead's philosophy of combining Nordic minimalism with tropical vibrancy. Though no longer in production, Bulgarian Brunch remains a testament to the brewery's willingness to explore unconventional flavour combinations in the sour ale space.
