RûchHouwer
Rûchhouwer is an ambitious quadrupel from Brouwerij Bûsdoek, a Frisian brewery founded in 2016 by five friends from Surhûzum. This golden beer emerged from an experimental brewing session using six different malts, three hop varieties, and distinctive spices. The result is a mature, fruity beer with genuine character.
The brewery incorporated juniper berries and tonka beans (bourbon-infused) for added complexity. Despite the intricate ingredient blend, Rûchhouwer drinks with surprising ease, balancing the rich maltiness expected of a quadrupel with bright fruity notes from its special additions.
