Karlens is a full-bodied Brown Ale from Bryggeriet Vestfyen in Assens, Denmark, brewed with a rich, malty character. This dark brown ale delivers aromas of coffee, caramel and chocolate, rounded out by a substantial body and pleasant bitter notes. The finish is dry with a lingering bitterness.

Bryggeriet Vestfyen, founded in 1885, returned to craft brewing in the 2000s after decades of mainstream production. Karlens was part of their Nordic Craft range, though the brewery has since discontinued regular production of this beer.
