Invidia is the third beer in Hugel's Zeven Zonden (Seven Sins) series, an ambitious project built around the seven deadly sins. This dark, powerful brew is crafted with four types of malt, three hop varieties and six spices, brewed at The Brew Society in Heule, Belgium.

The nose reveals roasted malt, chocolate and coffee, layered with ripe fruit and forest notes. On the palate, these same characters dominate: deep chocolate and coffee emerge from rich roasted malts, accompanied by a pleasant bitter edge. The finish is robust and warming, befitting the 10% ABV.

The beer presents a full, creamy head and brown colour that gleams with jealousy—the very meaning of invidia.
