Troubadour Westkust from Brouwerij The Musketeers is a Black IPA with a striking deep, almost black appearance. Brewed with 100% Belgian Westkust hops, this beer marries the smoky, roasted character of dark malt with assertive hop bitterness. The nose reveals aromas of hop, coffee and roasted malt, complemented by subtle hints of chocolate and vanilla.

On the palate, roasted malt and coffee are balanced by a strong yet pleasant bitterness that gradually takes the upper hand, leading to a dry, lingering finish. Bottle-refermented, this beer gains complexity from secondary fermentation. At 8.5% alcohol, Westkust is a full-bodied and multifaceted Black IPA.
