Sabinus
BRAUW Sabinus is a Black IPA from Belgium's BRAUW brewery. This dark, rich beer merges the assertive hop bitterness of an IPA with the deeper malt character of a dark ale. At 6.3% ABV, Sabinus delivers a full-bodied flavour experience without excessive heaviness.
In the glass, the beer displays dark brown hues beneath a substantial foam head. The aroma reveals notes of caramel and coffee, underpinned by citrus-forward hop character. On the palate, hop bitterness and roasted malt dominate, with subtle citrus notes complementing the darker tones.
The finish is dry and bitter, with a pleasant lingering hop bite. The texture is substantial yet approachable, making this beer suitable for extended drinking sessions.
