Musketeers Antigoon
Antigoon is a hoppy wheat IPA from Brouwerij The Musketeers, a Belgian brewery founded in 1999 by four brewing engineers. This beer marries the full, creamy mouthfeel characteristic of wheat beers with the assertive hop bitterness of an IPA. The result is a slightly hazy, pale blonde beer at 6% ABV.
The nose reveals spicy and floral citrus notes from the hops, layered with the distinctive wheat beer aroma. On the palate, the creamy body of the wheat malt takes centre stage, complemented by fruity and lightly spicy undertones. The finish is dry and bitter, with a lingering hoppy bite that extends well after the swallow.
