Waardamse Tripel
Stokhove Tripel, previously known as Waardamse Tripel, is a classic Belgian tripel from Brouwerij Stokhove in Oostkamp. Founded in 2011 by neighbours Levi Hogenhall and Jan De Waele, this microbrewery has earned recognition with this beer, winning the Bruges Beer Festival three consecutive times in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
The tripel displays a balanced orange-gold colour with a firm, mousse-like foam head. The nose is malty and fruity, with notes of ripe fruit such as banana and peach. The beer balances full malt character with fruity ester aromas typical of top-fermented Belgian tripels.
