Straffe Non is a golden India Pale Ale from Brouwerij Slot Oostende in Goes. The aroma presents fresh, lightly sweet notes with subtle fruit and spice. On the palate, a flavourful bitterness emerges, followed by a relatively soft and lingering finish. This is a hoppy, bitter beer with character—but approachable rather than harsh.

Slot Oostende was established in 2016 in a historic building in central Goes, where an orphanage and chapel once stood. Under master brewer Jens van Stee—owner of Bad Hair Brewing—the brewery creates beers with a distinctive twist, combining craft brewing with hospitality in their restaurant and hotel.
