Rodenbach Alexander is a Flemish sour ale from Roeselare, originally brewed in 1986 to mark the brewery's bicentenary. It embodies the house style through a precise blend: two-thirds aged ale matured in oak for 24 months, combined with one-third young beer infused with sour cherries.

The interplay is masterful. Oak-aged character brings vanilla undertones and subtle complexity, while the younger portion delivers brightness and cherry fruit. Acidity is sharp yet refined, with hints of bitter orange and perfumed complexity.
