Barry Bier from Brouwerij Pronck in Leiden is a specially brewed beer at 7.4% ABV, originally created for local personality Barrybadpak. This is a dark, opaque ale with subtle honey notes and wheat-forward hop character.

The beer displays an interesting interplay between malt and hop, with fruity notes emerging from fermentation. Pronck develops, brews and bottles all its beers in-house, using pure ingredients and an unconventional approach to craft brewing.
