Noordt Tank 5 is a dark India Pale Ale brewed by Brouwerij Noordt, an innovative Rotterdam craft brewery housed in a converted fire station. This beer merges the smoky, roasted character of a dark ale with the assertive hop bitterness of an American IPA.

In the glass, Tank 5 shows a light brown colour with a thin head. The aroma carries notes of caramelized malt and sweet, vegetal undertones. The flavour is relatively sweet and malty, striking a balance between hop bitterness and the deeper roasted grain character.
