Balashi is the first beer ever brewed in Aruba. Brouwerij Nacional Balashi was founded in 1998 and launched this pilsner in October 1999, immediately capturing the local market. The brewery uses desalinated island water, Scottish malt, and German hops from the renowned Hallertau region to craft its signature beer.

This is an approachable, well-balanced pilsner with a clean finish. The malt provides subtle sweetness, while German noble hops deliver classic, crisp bitterness. Built for Aruba's tropical climate, it drinks light and refreshing—a straightforward beer designed to quench rather than complicate.
