Brouwerij Maallust in Veenhuizen brews on historic grounds once home to a prison colony. The 1818 Infused 01 is an ambitious Quadrupel enriched with a spirit aged ten years on oak—a distillate drawn from one of the brewery's first 1818 beers.

The result is an intensely warming beer with deep character. Brewed from wheat malt, hops and yeast, unfiltered and unpasteurised. This is a beer for quiet reflection, with enough body and alcohol warmth to sustain a long evening.
