Brouwerij Kees in Middelburg crafted this Bock as part of their Barrel Project series, each a singular limited release. Edition 21.09, an Indian Summer Bock, spent nine months maturing in Speyside whisky casks, lending the beer a warm, measured character built on a solid Bock foundation.

The casks introduce subtle notes of wood and oak, while the Bock base expresses itself through full, malty tones. At 9% ABV, this beer strikes a pleasant balance between the sweetness inherent to the Bock style and the dry, layered complexity that barrel aging imparts.
