Brouwerij Katuin in Amersfoort brews this dark dubbel only a few times per year. The beer displays a clear deep red to copper colour and pours with moderate head retention.

The nose reveals brown malt, milk chocolate and caramel, with subtle cookie notes. The palate is complex and malty-sweet, showing chocolate and toast character alongside moderate fruity esters featuring raisin notes. A dry, gently hoppy finish rounds out the profile.
