Liquid Love Wild Bourbon from Brouwerij In de Nacht in Weert is an ambitious Imperial Stout aged for six months in bourbon barrels before bottle conditioning with wild yeast. This creates a layered beer: coffee, chocolate and buckwheat honey form the foundation, while the barrel contributes toffee, vanilla and woody notes.

The nose reveals rich caramel, biscuit-like malt aromas and hints of tobacco. On the palate, caramel and chocolate dominate, supported by a pleasant bitterness and full body. The wild yeast re-fermentation adds further complexity and a dry, lingering finish.
